The brain holds on to pain, and to painful events, through emotional and body memory. We cannot simply “decide” to let go of the pain. We have to reorganize the way it is held in the mind, body and brain. By using a natural trance state intentionally, we can do what I call “deep work”… which enables the softening of trauma, the unburdening of grief, and the cultivation of those parts of us that shine with compassion and creativity.
